Eva Stache is afgestudeerd als architect aan de Technische Universiteti Ion Mincu in Bucarest. Na haar studie heeft zij werkervaring opgedaan bij diverse architectenbureaus, bij theaters als decor en kostuumontwerper, en bij uitgeverijen als grafisch ontwerper. In 1998 richtte ze haar eigen architectenbureau op in Oostzaan, met als specialisme duurzaam bouwen.
Onderzoeken is een essentieel onderdeel van Stache’s ontwerpstrategie. Diverse onderzoeken in opdracht van Novem, RVO en BNA Onderzoek hebben bijgedragen aan een diepere kennis over implementatie van duurzaamheid, wijze van benaderen van een ontwerpopgave, beheren van een ontwerp en bouwproces in kleine of grote projecten.
Haar promotieonderzoek aan de TU Delt Faculteit Civiele Techniek, afdeling Materialen en Duurzaamheid heeft als thema Groen als Bouwmateriaal. Het is gericht op het verkennen van de effecten van stadsvegetatie op het stadsklimaat. Het gebruik van ecosysteemdiensten in de stad is volgens de resultaten, een van de weinige duurzame middelen om klimaatverandering en diens dramatische effecten op een effectieve wijze tegen te gaan. Alle onderzoeksresultaten worden direct vertaalt in de klimaatbestendige architectuurontwerpen van het bureau. De ambitie daarin is zeer hoog: energieneutraal, klimaatneutraal en water neutraal bouwen.
Eva Stache is lid van de Bond van Nederlandse Architecten, de Hongaarse Associatie van Décor en kostuumontwerpers in Budapest, envan de Bond van Roemeense Architecten, en is onderzoeker aan de TU Delft Faculteit Civiele Techniek afdeling Materialen en Duurzaamheid.
In 1987 ontving zij de prijs voor ‘Uitstekende Culturele Prestatie’, van de Hongaarse Ministerie voor Cultuur en Wetenschap. In 2003 won zij de eerste prijs van de Architectuurwedstrijd ‘Ontwerp een cataloguswoning met een EPC van 0,7 of lager’.

STAcHE ARCHITECT bna is gevestigd in het gebouw van de oude ULO school aan de Provinciale weg te Zaandam. Het pand, ontworpen door architect Gerrit Bakker en gebouwd in 1965, is in 2017 gemeentelijk monument geworden.

Eva Stache graduated as an architect at the Technische Universiteti Ion Mincu in Bucarest. After her studies, she gained work experience at various architectural firms, at theaters as a set and costume designer, and at publishers as a graphic designer. In 1998, she founded her own architectural firm in Oostzaan, specializing in sustainable building.
Researching is an essential part of Stache’s design strategy. Various studies commissioned by Novem, RVO and BNA Research have contributed to a deeper knowledge about implementation of sustainability, approach to a design assignment, management of a design and construction process in small or large projects.
Her PhD research at the TU Delt Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Materials and Sustainability, has the theme Green as Building Material. It is aimed at exploring the effects of urban vegetation on the urban climate. According to the results, the use of ecosystem services in the city is one of the few sustainable means to effectively combat climate change and its dramatic effects. All research results are directly translated into the firm's climate-proof architectural designs. The ambition is very high: energy-neutral, climate-neutral and water-neutral construction.
Eva Stache is a member of the Association of Dutch Architects, the Hungarian Association of Decor and costume designers in Budapest, and of the Association of Romanian Architects, and is a researcher at the TU Delft Faculty of Civil Engineering Materials and Sustainability Department.
In 1987 she received the "Excellent Cultural Performance" award from the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Science. In 2003 she won the first prize in the Architecture Contest "Design a catalog home with an EPC of 0.7 or lower".
STAcHE ARCHITECT bna - The desk works exclusively in a sustainable and energy-efficient way. The working area extends from residential construction through various forms of non-residential building to healthcare buildings, new construction, restoration and studies on sustainability.

STAcHE ARCHITECT bna is located in the building of the old ULO school on the Provinciale weg in Zaandam. The building, designed by architect Gerrit Bakker and built in 1965, became a municipal monument in 2017.

Het is mijn overtuiging dat onze leef- en werkruimte een beslissende rol vervult in hoe we denken, werken of blij zijn. Een architectonische ruimte gebouwd in harmonie met de omgeving, de natuur, het klimaat en de mensen die het gebruiken is van onschatbare waarde voor motivatie, succes en toekomst. Onze klimaat adaptieve architectuur gaat over wonen in groene woningen waar de diensten van de natuur optimaal worden benut voor koeling, ventilatie, isolatie, waterregulering, voedselproductie en gewoon ook schoonheid. Het gaat over werken in aangename begroeide werkgebieden, waar water geen last vormt en hitte buiten het gebied blijft. Het gaat over een duurzame levensmanier, waarbij in vele uitgebreide gesprekken kennis over natuur, klimaat en duurzaamheid met elkaar gedeeld wordt.
Our climate adaptive architecture is about living in green homes where the services of nature are optimally used for cooling, ventilation, insulation, water regulation, food production and simply beauty. It is about working in pleasantly vegetated work areas, where water is not a nuisance and heat remains outside the area. It is about a sustainable way of life, in which knowledge about nature, climate and sustainability is shared with each other in many extensive conversations.

Since its foundation in 1997, Stache Architect has chosen sustainability as the basis of its design philosophy. Sustainable is understood in a broad sense: that is to say that all possibilities for achieving an integral and harmonious design are utilized. These can range from the preservation and reuse of materials in the spirit of Cradle to Cradle (C2C), to the preservation and reuse of areas, buildings, places, atmosphere, history and plants. Zero energy homes for private individuals to climate-neutral area development or water-neutral redevelopment of the open space, guiding Collective Private Employment (CPO), sustainable homes or designs for climate adaptation are among our daily challenges,

Onze duurzame architectuur gaat over gelukkige mensen. Het gaat over de ruimte die we in overeenstemming met elkaar, de natuur en de processen om ons heen creëren en gebruiken. Duurzaamheid en klimaatadaptie gaat daarom over de integrale architectonische harmonie. Het is als zodanig een integraal onderdeel van de architectuuropgave en staat aan de basis van het programma van eisen, samen met de functies, oppervlaktes, infrastructuren en emotionele wensen.
Our sustainable architecture is about happy people. It is about the space that we create and use in harmony with each other, nature and the processes around us. Sustainability and climate adaptation is therefore about integral architectural harmony. As such it is an integral part of the architectural assignment and forms the basis of the schedule of requirements, together with the functions, surfaces, infrastructures and emotional wishes.
As a professional group of architects, we take the highest responsibility for the space as a whole. We design the city, the street, the building, the furniture, the cutlery and we paint and draw what is displayed on the walls. The urban development plan creates the conditions for a climate-proof city. Neighborhood by neighborhood, and street by street. Knowledge of the climatic aspects of a location is essential in this respect. Sustainable living, climate-neutral living, ecological living can only be realized with the use of broad knowledge about the location, sustainable measures, ecological construction, reuse of materials, energy savings, vegetation and the wishes of residents.
Als beroepsgroep van architecten nemen wij de hoogste verantwoordelijkheid voor de ruimte in zijn totaliteit. Wij ontwerpen de stad, de straat, het gebouw, de meubilair, het bestek en we schilderen en tekenen wat op de muren wordt tentoongesteld. Daarbij is kennis van de klimatologische aspecten van een locatie van essentieel belang.
